ALCOHOL POLICY

It is illegal for Exceptional Flavours to sell and supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. It is also illegal for you to buy alcohol if you are under the age of 18, even if you are buying as a gift for someone else.

It is illegal for you to falsely declare your age if you are under the age of 18 in order to buy alcohol from us. In accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 this is an offence liable on conviction to a fine of up to $2,000.

Only persons over the age of 18 can sign and receive orders from us. This is in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 If the receiver is under the age of 18 or does not have valid ID the parcel will be returned to the depot for further instruction.

By submitting an order with us and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions you are confirming that you and the person receiving the order are over the age of 18 and legally allowed to buy and receive alcohol in New Zealand.

INSURANCE

All of the goods we send are insured up to the point of delivery. We are not covered for any goods that are damaged or stolen after being delivered.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not delighted with your purchase, then please return the items to us within 14 days of receipt in its original condition and packaging and we will refund you the value less the delivery costs. Please note that the postage and cost of returns is the responsibility of the customer or purchaser. Please email us prior to sending any back so we can issue a return number.

All Returns must be sent back via Trackable Courier Only.
Unfortunately, breakages occasionally happen in transit, in this instance please let us know immediately and we will refund in full your broken items.

AVAILABILITY

As a general rule, every product on our website is IN STOCK unless stated otherwise.
We do our best to provide the most accurate, up-to-date information, but errors do occur. If you have ordered a product that is not available, we will inform you and ask whether you would like a refund, a replacement, or wait till the product is back in stock.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST.

Is there a minimum order?
There is a minimum order quantity of 6 bottles for the beer.
There is no minimum order quantity for the Elixir dAnvers.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders placed and credit approved by 12pm, Monday – Friday for items in stock will ship the same day as ordered. Orders placed and credit approved anytime Saturday or Sunday for items in stock will ship on the following business day. These cut-off times are a guideline and are subject to possible change or modification due to prevailing circumstances. This information does not constitute a guarantee.

If you have a Rural Delivery address, please allow 2-3 extra working days on top of those time frames.

What if I am not home at the time of delivery?
Please note: All orders require a signature upon delivery and must be signed for by someone over the age of 18. This is in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Please address your order to an address where this can happen between the hours of 9am to 5pm (i.e Your Work address)
If you are not at home, the courier driver will leave a calling card for you. Follow the instructions on the card to arrange re-delivery or to collect your wine from their depot if you would prefer.
When placing your order, you can leave instructions at the checkout to leave the order in a safe place. Just use the Delivery Instructions box at the checkout to let us know.

Please remember though that we are not insured if anything goes missing after you have given authority to leave.

Can I collect my order?
We are an online-only business and our liquor license strictly prohibits pickups from our distribution warehouse.
