Lindemans Kriek and its terrine-x1200

Ingredients

 150 g chicken livers
 150 g minced pork
 150 g minced beef
 250 ml Lindemans Kriek
 3 tbsp fine bread crumbs
 6 tbsp milk
 1 egg
 2 tbsp chopped parsley pepper
 200 g smoked bacon, finely sliced
 2 cloves
 1 tsp nutmeg
 a few slices of lemon
 slices of brown bread
Lindemans Lambic Kriek

Directions

Roughly chop the chicken livers and mix with the minced pork and beef in a large bowl. Pour the Lindemans Kriek over the meat.

Mix in the breadcrumbs, the milk, the egg and the parsley and season with salt and pepper.

Line a terrine dish with the slices of bacon so that they hang over the edge of the dish. Add the meat.

Crush the cloves with the nutmeg in a pestle and sprinkle them over the meat.

Fold the bacon to cover the meat and place a few slices of lemon in between.

Place the dish in a bain-marie and bake for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.

After this, turn off the oven and allow the terrine to cool down.

Cut the terrine in slices and serve with a slice of brown bread and a chilled Lindemans Kriek.
