Glazed Spareribs with Lindemans Kriek

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Lindemans Kriek
  • 2 racks of ribs
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Mix the Lindemans kriek with the tomato paste, honey, salt and pepper to a creamy sauce and combine with the crushed garlic.
  2. Spread the marinade over the racks.
  3. Allow to rest in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven at 160°C.
  5. Place the racks on a baking plate and put foil over them.
    Remove the foil after 1 ½ hours and place it shortly under a preheated oven grill to colour.
